Reseller Packages

In Management, open Subscriptions and select Open control panel on the intended Active reseller service. Choose Reseller for customer administration or My Account for your own mail-hosting tools. These actions apply to that reseller account on the selected server.

Create a customer package

  1. Open Reseller → Packages.
  2. Expand Create New Package.
  3. Enter Package Name, using letters, numbers, underscores, or hyphens, up to 50 characters.
  4. Set Disk Quota (GB), Domains, Email Accounts, Email Forwarders, and Domain Pointers.
  5. Use each resource's Unlimited checkbox only when that is the intended allowance.
  6. Click Create Package and confirm it appears in Your Packages.

Email Accounts is the usable customer-mailbox allowance. Enter the desired count directly; do not add a system mailbox yourself. Zero permits zero customer mailboxes; use Unlimited for an unlimited package setting. Package allowances remain subject to the reseller's service limits.

Edit or delete a package

To edit:

  1. Open Packages and click Edit package beside the intended name.
  2. Wait for its details to load.
  3. Adjust the resource values or Unlimited checkboxes.
  4. Click Save Changes and recheck the package.

To delete:

  1. First make sure no users remain assigned to the package; move them to another suitable package if needed.
  2. Click Delete package beside its name.
  3. Check the name and click Delete Package.

After editing a package, inspect the affected customers' effective limits rather than assuming every existing account has changed. Older finite packages can show one fewer usable mailbox than an old DirectAdmin count because the displayed allowance counts customer mailboxes; that difference does not mean a mailbox was deleted.

After creating a package, create a customer account or map it in WHMCS. Review capacity planning before allocating storage.
