Getting Started with MXroute
Welcome to MXroute! This guide will help you get started with your email hosting.
What is MXroute?
MXroute is a reliable email hosting service designed for businesses and individuals who need dependable email. Our major focus is on inbox delivery for the emails you send. Of course, we can only guarantee that we do the most possible to that end, we cannot guarantee your emails will be appreciated by the recipient or their email provider. We provide a custom control panel for email management. We have Crossbox and Roundcube available for webmail. We support IMAP, SMTP, and POP allowing you to use your own email clients. We are primarily an email service, we are not meant to be a groupware solution.
Your Two Panels
MXroute uses two separate panels for different purposes:
Management Panel (management.mxroute.com)
The Management Panel at management.mxroute.com is your starting point. This is where you manage your account and billing:
- View and manage your subscriptions
- Pay invoices and manage payment methods
- Upgrade or change your plan
- Open support tickets
- Update your account information
- Access your Control Panel via the "Login to Panel" button on any active service
Control Panel (panel.mxroute.com)
The Control Panel is where you manage your email service. Access it by clicking "Login to Panel" from your Management Panel. From here you can:
- Create and manage email accounts
- Set up email forwarders
- Configure spam filtering
- Manage domains and DNS settings
- Set up calendars and contacts (CalDAV/CardDAV)
- Access webmail
