Calendar & Contacts

MXroute provides calendar and contacts synchronization through CalDAV and CardDAV protocols at dav.mxroute.com.

Important Note

While this service helps you sync calendars and contacts between your devices, none of our webmail applications currently connect to or share data with it. This is a standalone sync service.

How It Works

• Server: dav.mxroute.com
• Username: Your full email address (e.g., you@yourdomain.com)
• Password: Your email password
• Port: 443 (HTTPS)

You use the same credentials as your email account. Your domain's MX records must point to MXroute servers for authentication to work.

What You Can Sync

• CalDAV (Calendars): Sync calendar events across all your devices
• CardDAV (Contacts): Sync your address book across all your devices

Supported Platforms

Setup guides are available in the Control Panel under "Calendar & Contacts" for:

• iOS / iPadOS
• macOS
• Android (using DAVx5 app)
• Thunderbird
• Windows (using Thunderbird or eM Client)

Setting Expectations

MXroute is primarily an email service. Our calendar and contacts functionality is useful for syncing data between devices, but:

• It does not integrate with our webmail interfaces
• The experience may not match dedicated services like Google Calendar or iCloud
• For critical calendar/contacts needs, many users combine MXroute email with dedicated calendar services
